This itinerary is great for those who would enjoy exploring the Imperial cities of Rabat, Meknes, Fez, and Marrakech.

This is one of our top itineraries since it gives you time to visit cultural and historical sites, shop in the souks, stay in quaint riads, and sample fine Moroccan cuisine.

This trip can be shortened or lengthened to accommodate your dates and can begin in any city, such as Rabat, Fez, Tangier, or Marrakesh depending upon your travel arrangements.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Casablanca

Welcome, Mrehba!

Upon arriving into the Casablanca Airport (CMN), you’ll be picked up and taken to your hotel. Following, you may wish to see some of the sights of the city where the best is being the one and only The Hassan II Mosque.

Day 2Rabat (1.30hrs)

The capital of Morocco, Rabat is the first Imperial city you will be visiting.

With a laid-back medina worthy of exploration and a nice vibe to boot, you can visit the Oudayas Kasbah, Hassan Tower & Mohammed V Mausoleum, along with the Chellah Gardens & Necropolis.

You will be spending the night in a lovely riad (traditional Moroccan home) inside the Rabat medina.

Day 3Meknes Guided Visit

Today, you’ll travel onward to Meknes,here we shall visit the easily most beautiful Bab or gateway, in all of the Maghreb – the Bab Mansour.

From here to the El Heri es-Souani – the granary of huge vaulted structures and stables built by Moulay Ismail’s soldiers next to a pool fed by underground channels that brought fresh water all the way from the distant Middle Atlas Mountains; the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and the Place el-Hedim to see the famous State-owned stallion stables of Haras where these Arabo-Berber horses are bred.

Day 4Volubilis / Fez (2hrs)

Today can you will continue onward through the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis,the city of really ancient olive presses, mansions,incredible mosaics, monumental arches and Corinthian columns where you’ll have a real sense of Roman lifestyle and of the subsequent medieval Berber town ,then we will visit the sacred town of Moulay Idriss, which sits perched overlooking the ruins, and then to the town of Moulay Idriss before heading to Fez.

Day 5Fez Guided Visit

Today you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets.

Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, and the first Mellah (old fashioned market) built during the 16th century.

We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum.

After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fez.

Day 6Fez to Marrakesh (7hrs)

After an early breakfast, the group will depart for Marrakech.

The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains and along the base of the High Atlas Mountains.

Once in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel and then head off to the Djemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina.

The famous Djemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech.

Day 7Marrakesh Guided Visit

After breakfast, you can start exploring Marrakech «the red city of Morocco”.

We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace.

After Lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts.

On the afternoon, you will have some free time to wonder by yourself the other parts of the city.

Day 8Marrakesh / High Atlas (optional)

You’ll have a free day in Marrakesh to continue exploring the sights, souks, and all what can Marrakesh offers as one of the most mystical cities of Morocco.

If you’d like to use this free day to take a guided visit of the Berber villages of the High Atlas Mountains with transport included.

The round trip to the mountains and back to Marrakesh is three hours.

Day 9Marrakesh to Casablanca (3hrs)

Depending upon your flight time the following day, you can stay in Marrakesh or travel to Casablanca in the afternoon.

If you opt to stay in Marrakech, travel time to the airport is three hours.

You might also find flights departing from the Marrakesh (RAK)airport.

Day 10Depart Casablanca
